Matt Chesson – Drum Teacher
I started playing drums whilst at secondary school. This quickly lead to going to local jam nights and hanging in there with much better musicians than myself. I progressed to doing grades before getting into bands and gigging up and down the country. Some highlights were performing at Secret Garden Party and Boardmasters to a packed audience with Psychedelic rock group We are Bandicoot, as well as recording and releasing albums with them and Indie rockers Best Intentions. More recently I’ve been working non-stop with the ever popular The Real Deal Band, as well as session work with different London based musicians. An aim of mine is to perform at Ronnie Scott’s to a sold out house, and add my name to the long list of great performers there!
