Neil Cornwell

Neil has a BA Honours degree in music from the University of Kent, along with an Foundation Degree  in Music Production from the University of Greenwich
An experienced player and teacher; Neil, has been teaching guitar and music theory for over 10 years. His work with numerous bands, spanning various and contrasting genres, have seen him play regular gigs at London venues, as well as venues across the UK. Festival appearances include Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall, The Cavern Club in Liverpool, and as far a field as the International Artists Stage at the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans where he played guitar for New Orleans Ambassador, Lillian Boutte. During his time in the city, Neil also performed at the World famous Tipitina’s and The Jazz Heritage Museum.
As well as his extensive live performance experience, Neil has been involved in a vast number of recording projects, at a wide range of studios, including Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, where he recorded original material alongside engineer Robin Baynton (Tom Jones, Nightwish, Mumford & Sons).
